A NEW CHRONOGRAPH
\nFrederique Constant\u2019s showcase collection is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary this year and unveiling brand new variations of its sports model, the 41-millimetre Chronograph Automatic, to mark the occasion. This limited edition of 1888 pieces housed in a steel case and offering the unusual combination of an opaline dial with green counters, setting a contemporary, sportier tone. Powered by the FC-391 calibre with its 60-hour power reserve, the piece will comes with three interchangeable straps, as is the custom.<\/p>\n
EMBLEMATIC COMPLICATION
\nEach version of the timepiece bears a two-compax chronograph, with a small second at 9 o\u2019clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o\u2019clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o\u2019clock, balancing the Maison\u2019s signature at noon. Three central hand-polished hands complete the set, with luminescent hours and minutes, and the central chronograph second hand. Each model is also equipped with a second complication useful in everyday life, the date, discreetly placed in a dedicated window between 4 and 5 o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n
DESIGN
\nThe Highlife Gents models have a 41 mm case, available in various materials. The lack of horns allows for greater flexibility and helps the watch sit naturally on the wrist. The integrated design is infinitely more complicated to conceive than any strap with horns. The process requires perfect continuity between the lines of the case and the links, a smooth, regular but gradual transition to the clasp and natural fluidity that should be almost imperceptible.<\/p>\n
AN INGENIOUS STRAP SYSTEM
\nIn 1999, Frederique Constant launched the first models of the Highlife collection. Their unique design is characterized by a special bracelet integrated into the case. Since then, the Maison has modernized this concept and revitalized the collection by equipping all the watches in the Highlife line with an ingenious bracelet system, allowing for easy and quick bracelet changes. Additionally, all watches in the Highlife line come with an extra bracelet made of steel, leather, or rubber.<\/p>\n
A SOPHISTICATED DIAL \u2013 MEANINGFUL & UNIFYING DECORATION
\nAll new models in the Highlife collection have a decorated dial. In the interests of unifying the collection, each one features the same globe motif.
